How much does a custom engagement ring cost in South Africa?
Custom moissanite engagement rings start from R13,995. Lab diamond rings start from around R19,495. All pricing is fully inclusive: stone, setting, metal, 3D design and delivery. No add-ons at the end.
How long does it take to make a custom engagement ring?
Most custom engagement rings take 4 to 6 weeks to make. The 3D design stage comes first, so you approve the ring before we start crafting. We confirm the exact time in your quote.
Do I see the design before production begins?
Yes, always. We produce a full 3D CAD render and send it to you for approval before any metal is used. You can request changes. Nothing goes into production until you are completely happy.
Can you make a custom ring from a photo or a Pinterest picture?
Yes. Send us a photo of a ring you like, from Pinterest, Instagram or a jewellery store. We draw it up in 3D and adjust the stone, setting and metal to suit your budget.
What if I have no design in mind at all?
That is where most clients start. You do not need a design. Tell us about her, her style and what she loves. Share a photo of jewellery she owns if you have one. We guide the design from there.
What is the difference between moissanite and a lab-grown diamond?
Both are grown in a lab. Moissanite is a different gemstone with more fire than a diamond, and it costs far less. A lab-grown diamond is chemically a diamond, scores 10 on the Mohs scale and costs more. Moissanite comes with GRA certification and lab-grown diamonds with IGI certification. We can quote both so you can compare.
Is moissanite a good stone for an engagement ring?
Yes. Moissanite scores 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, well above what daily wear needs. It produces more fire than diamond, comes with GRA certification and costs far less, so your budget stretches to a larger stone or a more detailed setting.
Which metals can I choose for a custom engagement ring?
We make custom rings in 9ct or 18ct gold, in yellow, white or rose, and in 950 platinum. Your budget and the setting style guide the best choice, and we advise you in your quote.
Are the stones certified?
Yes. Moissanite comes with GRA certification and lab-grown diamonds come with IGI certification. The certificate is included in your all-in price.

Can I pay for a custom engagement ring in instalments?
Yes. Instalment options are available through Payflex and PayJustNow, and you can also pay securely by EFT or card. We explain the payment steps when we send your quote.
How do I find her ring size without asking her?
Borrow a ring she already wears on her ring finger and send us a photo, or trace the inside of the ring on paper. We also include one complimentary resize, so a small miss is easy to fix.
Do you deliver anywhere in South Africa?
Yes. We deliver securely to all provinces, from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Durban, Pretoria, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein, East London and everywhere between. Delivery is free and insured. International delivery is available on request.
Can you resize the ring after delivery?
Yes. One complimentary resize is included within 6 months of delivery. Some setting styles limit how many sizes can be adjusted, and we advise on this when confirming production.
