Custom Design from Scratch

You describe what you want and we design it. Share a sketch, a Pinterest board, a photo from Instagram, or just a feeling, and we will turn it into a wearable ring. Moissanite or lab diamond, any cut, any metal, any setting. We produce a 3D render for you to approve before anything is cast.

Modified Stock Design

You like one of our standard designs but want to change something. A different stone shape, a thinner band, a hidden halo instead of a standard one, rose gold instead of white. We can modify any existing design to your specifications, usually without increasing the price significantly.

Bespoke and Heirloom

You have family stones, an heirloom piece you want redesigned, or an antique-inspired concept that does not exist anywhere. We handle full bespoke commissions, including resetting heritage stones into new settings and designing pieces that draw from vintage and antique traditions.

Matching Wedding Bands

Once your engagement ring is designed, we can craft a perfectly fitted wedding band to match. Curved to sit flush, shaped to complement the setting, or designed as a simple companion band. We make both rings together so the fit is exact.

Men's Custom Rings

We design and craft custom wedding bands and signet rings for men in 9ct yellow, white, and rose gold. Plain, brushed, hammered, diamond-set, or any combination.

Fine Jewellery Beyond Rings

We occasionally take commissions for earrings, pendants, and bracelets for clients who want matching pieces to complement their engagement ring. These are assessed on a project-by-project basis. Enquire to discuss.

Moissanite or lab-grown diamond as your centre stone. Moissanite is GRA certified, lab diamond is IGI or GIA certified, and every piece ships with its original grading report matched to your specific stone.

We work through stone, metal, and setting together, then produce a 3D render showing every angle before you commit to anything. You approve the exact design, not a rough idea of it.

Craft and Set

Your ring is cast and hand-finished in our South African workshop. Four to six weeks from approval. We send progress updates along the way, not silence until delivery day.

Deliver and Certify

Your ring arrives fully insured in a velvet ring box, with its grading certificate and warranty details included. Free delivery anywhere in South Africa.

Bespoke means genuinely unrepeatable. We work with clients across South Africa on heirloom redesigns, antique-inspired pieces, multi-stone arrangements, and rings that incorporate stones from existing family jewellery.

If you have a piece of jewellery you love but no longer wear, we can assess the stones and design something new around them. If you have a concept that does not exist anywhere, we can render it, price it, and make it.

Bespoke pieces take a little longer and cost a little more. They are also, without exception, the most meaningful rings we make. Start with a conversation and we will tell you honestly what is possible and what it would cost.

No. Most of our custom clients come to us with a general idea and we help them develop it. Share whatever you have, a reference image, a rough description, a budget, and we will guide you from there. If you have nothing at all, we will ask questions and show you options until something clicks.

Yes. The consultation and initial design options are free, with no charge to discuss stone, metal, and setting. We produce a 3D render of your exact ring and you approve it before any deposit is requested. You are never paying for something you have not seen.

Four to six weeks from the time you approve the 3D render and confirm the order. More complex bespoke pieces can take up to eight weeks. We will give you a realistic timeline upfront before you commit to anything.

We revise it until you do. Adjustments to the render are included in the price and we do not move to production until you have signed off on the design. This stage usually takes two or three rounds of small tweaks.

Yes. We reset existing stones into new settings regularly. The stone needs to be assessed before we can quote accurately, so we will ask for measurements, photos, and if possible, the grading certificate. Contact us to start that conversation.

Not necessarily. If you are making a straightforward change to an existing design, the price is very similar to the standard version. Fully bespoke pieces with complex settings or unusual stone arrangements will cost more because they require more design and craft time. We will always quote before you commit.

Moissanite carries a limited lifetime warranty against clouding or loss of brilliance. Every ring also carries a 12-month manufacturing warranty covering setting integrity and workmanship, plus a free first resize within twelve months. Full terms are on our warranty page.

Yes, general styles like halo, solitaire, and vintage settings are universal categories, not any one jeweller's property, and using them as a reference point is completely normal. What we build is our own interpretation crafted for you, not a replica of another brand's specific branded design.

Every ring is delivered in a velvet ring box, fully insured, with its grading certificate and warranty details included. Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa.

Yes. The entire process, from consultation to render approval, happens over WhatsApp, video call, or email, so where you are in South Africa makes no difference to the design process, the price, or the free insured delivery.

A custom ring is built for one specific hand, not a retail catalogue. Since we make every ring to order in our own workshop, with no showroom to fund and no mass-produced stock to hold, a custom piece often costs the same or less than an equivalent retail ring, while being entirely yours.

The 3D render step exists specifically to remove that risk. You approve the exact design, stone, metal, and setting, before anything is cast, so there are no surprises on either side. If something about the render is not right, we revise it until it is.

It is a deliberate choice, not a limitation. Moissanite has a higher refractive index than diamond, and lab-grown diamond is chemically and optically identical to a mined stone at a fraction of the price. Cut, colour, clarity, and carat. Cut has the biggest effect on sparkle, which is why we guide every client on where to spend and where to save within their budget rather than chasing every C equally. Borrow a ring she already wears on the correct finger and we can measure it, trace its inner circle onto paper, or quietly ask a close friend or family member who might already know. If none of that is possible, order size N, the South African average, and use your free first resize once she has it on. Our ring size guide covers each method in more detail.

Yes, and it is more common than people expect. Whether you want a bigger centre stone, a different setting, or simply a ring that reflects where you are now rather than where you started, we can redesign it, reset your current stone, or build something entirely new around it.

Minor changes are usually possible before production starts, though a full redesign after you have already approved the render will mean a new render and may add to the cost and timeline. This is why we take the render approval step seriously rather than rushing it.

Take it off before swimming, since chlorine and salt water both weaken gold alloys over repeated exposure, and before the gym or manual work, since gold is a soft precious metal that dents and deforms under repeated impact.
