A wedding ring is the one piece of jewellery you wear every day for the rest of your life, which makes it a different decision to an engagement ring. Comfort, durability, and how it sits against the ring already on her finger matter more than drama.

Our range covers both partners. Women's bands are made to order in 9ct and 18ct gold, set with GRA certified moissanite or IGI certified lab grown diamonds, from R12,995. Men's rings are held in stock in tungsten, damascus steel and meteorite, from R1,595, and ship within a business day.

For her

Plain bands are the most versatile choice and never compete with an engagement ring. Pave bands run small stones along the band for continuous sparkle. Eternity rings carry stones all the way around, with half eternity a more practical option since the underside stays smooth against the finger. Curved and contoured bands are shaped to sit flush against a halo or a raised setting rather than leaving a gap.

Tungsten is the most practical, since it resists the scratches that dull gold within months. Damascus steel carries a forged grain pattern unique to each ring. Meteorite rings are inlaid with genuine Gibeon meteorite. All are comfort fit and, importantly, cannot be resized, so sizing needs confirming before ordering. Matching the engagement ring

The two rings sit together for decades, so metal colour and profile matter. A flat band against a raised halo leaves a visible gap, which is what curved bands solve. Mixing 9ct and 18ct gold in the same colour is generally fine visually, though the harder 9ct can wear the softer 18ct over many years of rubbing together. Buying both bands together? Timing

Women's bands take four to six weeks to make. Men's rings ship in three to five business days. If you are ordering both for the same wedding, order hers first and his can follow much later. See our process page for the full timeline, and get a quote when you are ready.

When should we order wedding rings?

At least two months before the wedding for made-to-order women's bands, which take four to six weeks plus delivery. Men's rings are in stock and can be ordered much later.

Do the rings need to match each other?

No. Matching sets are common but entirely optional, and plenty of couples choose completely different metals and styles. What matters more is that each ring suits the person wearing it every day.

Can a wedding band be resized later?

Gold bands can be resized, and your first resize is free within twelve months. Tungsten, damascus and meteorite cannot be resized at all, which is why sizing matters more on the men's range.

Will a plain band scratch?

Gold will, gradually, and that patina is normal rather than damage. Tungsten resists scratching almost entirely. If a permanently unmarked finish matters, tungsten is the better choice.
