Worth knowing about plating: the tungsten beneath will not wear, but a gold-plated or rose gold-plated surface can wear over years of daily contact. If you want a finish that never changes at all, a solid polished or brushed tungsten ring is the safer choice.

Tungsten cannot be resized

This is the single most important thing to get right before ordering. Tungsten carbide is too hard to cut and reshape the way gold is, so it cannot be sized up or down. This applies to tungsten rings from any jeweller, not only ours.

Every ring here has a comfort fit interior, gently domed on the inside rather than flat. Comfort fit usually feels slightly looser than a standard band, so if you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller one. The trade-off worth knowing

Tungsten's hardness comes with brittleness. It does not bend, which means a severe impact can crack it rather than dent it. This is uncommon in normal wear, and some men treat it as an advantage: in a medical emergency a tungsten ring can be cracked off with a clamp rather than cut through, which is faster and safer on a swollen finger.
