Made to order, designed with you

We are a made-to-order workshop. Almost everything we sell starts as a brief and becomes a finished piece built for one person. That makes bespoke the heart of what we do rather than a side service. You tell us what you want, we design it, and we make it in South Africa. There is no showroom to visit. We work with clients in all nine provinces and abroad, and we handle the whole design conversation remotely.

Bespoke covers engagement rings, wedding bands, pendants, earrings and other fine pieces. How a commission works

Every commission begins with a conversation. You send us reference images, a rough budget and a stone preference. We reply with a design direction, a price and a realistic timeline. Once you approve, you pay a deposit and we start making. You settle the balance before the piece ships. We keep you updated as the piece moves through the bench. If you own a stone already, from an heirloom or an older ring, we can often design around it. Send clear photos and any certificate you have and we will tell you what is possible.

Working remotely

Remote design is normal for us, not a compromise. We run the whole process over WhatsApp, email and video call. You can message us on WhatsApp with a photo at any point. Video calls let us talk through shape, proportion and finish so you know what you are getting before we cut metal. For ring sizing we send guidance so you measure correctly at home.

Stones: moissanite and lab-grown diamonds

You choose the stone. Moissanite gives you strong brilliance and fire at a lower price, so you can go larger for the same spend. Each moissanite comes with a GRA certificate. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically identical to mined diamonds and cost far less, and they arrive with an IGI or GIA certificate. Our certification page explains what each certificate covers. Moissanite engagement rings start from R13,995 for a 1ct in 9ct gold. Lab-diamond rings start from R24,995.

Metals and finishes

We work in 9ct and 18ct gold in yellow, white and rose, and in platinum. We do not use 14ct. Nine-carat gold is harder and more affordable. Eighteen-carat is richer in colour and weight. Platinum is dense, naturally white and holds up well over decades. We match band width, profile and finish to the design and to how the piece will be worn day to day.

Timelines and pricing

Made-to-order pieces take four to six weeks from approved design to completion. Complex settings or unusual stones can take longer, and we tell you upfront if that applies. Price depends on the stone size, the metal, the carat and the amount of work at the bench. Because we make each piece to order, there is nothing sitting in stock inflating the cost. Delivery inside South Africa is free and takes one to three business days once the piece ships. We also ship internationally. Every piece carries a limited lifetime optical warranty against clouding and a 12-month manufacturing warranty. Your first resize within 12 months is free.

Bespoke is not limited to rings. We make pendants, earrings and other pieces to order, and our fine jewellery range is growing.
